Lauren Dennis-Perelmuter shared with the Chamber, that the Art Box Academy was officially created in the spring of 2020 as it transitioned Art to Grow On Children’s Art Center from an on campus art education company to a product based company that customizes, curates, packs and delivers Art boxes and Lesson Bundles for children and students ages 3-12 years old. The Art box Academy features lessons inspired by the Great Master Artists and Architects and all lessons are portioned, packaged and delivered to your doorstep.
From their Monthly Art Box Subscriptions to their Jumbo Architecture Boxes, Fairy Boxes, Creative Play Boxes, Lesson Bundles and more, The Art Box Academy enhances and elevates all of their current learning modalities: social distance learning, pod/micro-classroom modalities, home school, classrooms, gifts, and more. Boxes and Lesson Bundles are inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, Van Gogh, Matisse, Monet, Andy Warhol, Frank Gehry and more. The boxes are jam packed with extra activities and projects and are fully prepared with supplies for each and every student. Keeps kiddos busy and inspired with zero screen time and zero shopping or prep!
Lauren feels so fortunate to live here on the Peninsula and Beach Cities. When not working, she absolutely loves to walk at the beach and on all of the Peninsula’s amazing trails. She loves spending time with close friends and family and taking her fabulous golden retriever, Bodie for long walks.
A fun fact that most people may not know about Lauren is she has two amazing boys, a high school freshman at Peninsula High and another son who is a senior at PV High. They have ongoing ping pong matches, and she told us that she wins almost all of the time!
Lauren’s favorite things about the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce include the Chamber being a very special place where from the moment she joined she felt welcomed and found the Chamber’s ability to listen and care a phenomenal asset. Lauren commented that the Chamber team’s passion to provide enriching and substantive workshops and lecture series is truly superb. Her favorite Chamber activity is her participation at the PV Street Fair where she brings lots of attention to the Kid Zone!
Lauren commented that the members involved in the Chamber are also very special. She doesn’t know of any other chamber that includes so many incredible business owners and community partners. Congratulations Lauren!
