Lauren Dennis-Perelmuter, is the founder and CEO of The Art Box Academy in addition to Art To Grow On Children’s Art Center, Inc.
As a premier Art Education provider since 2000, Lauren and her team have worked with over 50,000 students ranging in age from preschool through 12thgrade. From public schools to private schools, from corporate day care to preschools to luxury resorts and pediatric hospitals, The Art Box Academy continues to provide significant product and programming for organizations, institutions, and schools nationally. In 2021, Ms. Dennis-Perelmuter was nominated by The Los Angeles Times B2B for their Women’s Innovation Award along with having featured articles published in UCLA Health, Palos Verdes Magazine and South Bay Magazine. Ms. Dennis-Perelmuter is also a contributing columnist for LA Parent Magazine in addition to Palos Verdes Magazine, constantly contributing to how we as a community can elevate our children through the creative process. She is also on the Advisory Board for Walk with Sally, an organization ensuring children with a family cancer diagnosis are mentored and feel supported in addition to being involved with KidSave, working with teen foster children, finding their forever home.
Lauren received a BA in Fine and Studio Art from University of California Santa Barbara, a degree in Textile Design from Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design and studied Art History at the Universite de Paris, France.
One of her absolutely favorite things to do is to go for a beach walk with her two boys and their beyond adorable golden pup Bodie. Her favorite artists are Matisse and the Spanish Impressionist, Sorolla.
Lauren is on a mission to ensure each and every child has the opportunity to create and innovate and become optimal thinkers and creative human beings!
